Mission Statement
To introduce and educate our youth and their families in the outdoor activities that our valley has to offer.
To engage the support of our community by inviting them to share their time, treasures and talents.
Carson Valley Youth Day – 7/20/24
Carson Valley Youth Day, which is our annual Main Event, is the day we gather each year to get together outdoors and teach our youth just how much fun can be had outdoors. We teach hands on with the following: Archery, Wrist rocket/ slingshots, Pellet Rifles, .22 rifles, shot guns and fly-fishing.
Other activities include: Fish and duck painting, Painting of decoys, Amie’s fishing Pond, drone flying.
Static supporters such as: NDOT (Bicycle Safety), NDOW (Fish and game), Sherriff’s Dept. (Search and Rescue, SWAT, Youth Finger printing). Fire Department, State Parks, National Forestry. and possibly a visit from Smokey the Bear. Carson Valley Medical Group, Wild Sheep Foundation. 20’s/ 30’s Club.
